Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager with experience in Transport and Highway Infrastructure to join a client in Oxford. Your main duties include delivering high-profile highway and transport projects across the area, liaising with various stakeholders, managing a multi-disciplinary external design team (highway, traffic and transport) as well as holding budget responsibilities and negotiating funding and income.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £450 per day - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working/working from home arrangements are available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering major transport, highways and transport infrastructure projects related to active travel and public transport
  • Engaging high profile stakeholders and leading on the public engagement programme
  • Overseeing the early, outline and detailed design stages of the project
  • Ensuring all elements of the programme are delivered on time and within budget

Previous experience in Highways, Active Travel or Transport is essential for this role.
