Job summary

SEFE Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of Front Office Trading Analytics capabilities, working closely with traders, senior Front Office stakeholders and other Trading IT verticals to translate commercial priorities into clear plans and successful outcomes.

This is a permanent role for an exceptional communicator who can solve problems, remove obstacles and maintain momentum in a fast-paced trading environment.

IN SHORT

As a Project Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of SEFE’s Front Office Trading Analytics capabilities. Working closely with traders, senior Front Office stakeholders and other Trading IT verticals, you will translate commercial priorities into clear plans and successful delivery outcomes.

This is ahighly visible, permanent rolefor an exceptional communicator and stakeholder manager who can solve complex problems, remove obstacles and maintain momentum across a fast-paced trading environment. You will takeownership of Front Office Trading Analytics delivery, creating clarity across priorities, commitments, dependencies, risks and outcomes.

Success in this role will be defined by stakeholder confidence, pragmatic problem-solving and the consistent conversion of Front Office priorities into tangible business value.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Delivery leadership:Lead the day-to-day delivery of SEFE’s Front Office Trading Analytics capabilities, ensuring priorities, commitments, dependencies and expected outcomes are clearly understood and actively managed.


• Stakeholder engagement:Build trusted relationships with traders, senior Front Office stakeholders and other Trading IT verticals. Act as a visible and credible delivery partner who communicates clearly, manages expectations and creates confidence in execution.


• Planning and prioritisation:Translate Front Office strategy and commercial priorities into coordinated, achievable delivery plans. Work with business and technology stakeholders to agree scope, sequencing, resources and delivery commitments.


• Execution and Delivery:Manage the full lifecycle of change, from initiation and agile delivery to operational readiness. Maintain pace across the delivery landscape by identifying obstacles early, driving timely decisions and taking practical action to keep delivery moving. Intervene directly when initiatives become blocked, unclear or lose momentum.


• Resource and budget management:Drive annual, quarterly, and continuous planning, balancing resource allocation across the Energy Transition portfolio. Accountable for managing the annual budget,optimizingspend, and providing financial transparency to the Project Sponsor to maximize ROI.


• Technology and AI Enablement: Support the adoption of new technologies and practical AI-enabled SDLC practices to help teams deliver change faster and more effectively.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

• A proven track record of leading complex technology and business change in a fast-moving, commercially focused environment.


• Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build trust and establish credibility with traders, senior Front Office stakeholders and technology teams.


• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to become directly involved in resolving difficult issues - not simply reporting or escalating them.


• The confidence to challenge constructively, facilitate difficult conversations and bring stakeholders together around clear decisions and outcomes.


• The ability to translate strategic and commercial priorities into practical delivery plans, clear ownership and measurable outcomes.


• Experience working effectively with traders, commercial stakeholders, product managers and engineers.


• Strong understanding of trading processes, market operations and supporting technology, ideally gained within energy, commodities or financial markets.


• Experience managing delivery risks, resources, budgets, suppliers, dependencies and operational readiness across complex technology initiatives.


• An entrepreneurial, outcome-focused mindset with a strong commitment to business value, continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
