Project Manager (FMCG / Medical Device Experience) – 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Hybrid / UK
Contract Type: 12-Month Fixed Term
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support backlog and portfolio delivery within a busy R&D Project Management Office. The successful candidate will manage multiple cross-functional projects, ensuring new product development (NPD) and product changes are delivered on time, in full, and on budget.
This is a temporary position ideal for a professional with strong FMCG and Medical Device Regulation (MDR) experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple projects across cross-functional teams including R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Marketing, and Regulatory.
  • Deliver projects in line with agreed timelines, budgets, and scope using a structured Stage Gate process.
  • Define project goals, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage risks and issues effectively.
  • Facilitate feasibility analyses, including technical and business assessments.
  • Maintain effective project governance, reporting, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Manage change control processes and ensure project compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Support product launches and ensure smooth transition from development to production.
  • Coordinate with international and regional teams to share best practices and drive consistency.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Proven experience managing complex projects within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong understanding of Medical Device Regulation (MDR) requirements.
  • Demonstrated success delivering cross-functional innovation and product development projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Project or equivalent project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Professional project management certification (Prince2, PMI, APM, or IPMA) preferred.
  • Fluent in English; French language skills advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and internationally.
