Overview
We are recruiting a Fixtures Project Manager to join a shopfitting client with offices in Bradford and Sunderland. The company are an interior fit out contractor who operate in the retail shopfitting sector with a client list that includes Asda, M&S, Morrison's etc. They are a multi-discipline Project, Equipment Management and Fit Out company offering a full range of professional construction, design and building services.
Responsibilities
- Take direction from clients confirming all project details.
- Ensure suitable and sufficient information is provided in a timely manner by Designers/Client.
- Carry out on site surveys if/when required.
- Gather all relevant information and scope out projects in their entirety, including reviewing drawings, generating and maintaining RFI schedules.
- Collate costs for the projects using client nominated suppliers / supply chain.
- Produce labour, plant, and material forecasts.
- Produce critical paths / construction programmes for projects and issue to client for review and track throughout the project.
- Ensure all pre-development requirements are in place, such as Pre-Start checklists.
- Attend any required onsite meetings at various stages of the projects.
- Ensure that all project information is stored in line with company processes and procedures.
- Status and KPI reporting using the Company system throughout the project lifecycle.
- Gain an understanding of supplier lead times and the potential requirement for early funding.
- Aascertain labour requirements for the project and ensure sufficient relevant resource is booked and within sufficient time to meet the program.
- Develop and issue draft and detailed programs to relevant parties (client, suppliers & sub-contractors).
Qualifications and experience
- Shopfitting industry knowledge with experience in project management.
- Customer service experience with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Certifications: CSCS (Gold Card or above).
- Asbestos Awareness.
- Full clean driving licence.
