Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Project Manager for Fire & Security systems to drive delivery across the South East and South West. The role is office-based in Swindon with remote working available and involves 2-3 days on-site per week.

The remuneration is £50,000–£60,000, with a benefits package. Responsibilities include managing monitoring, CCTV, alarms, access control and fire suppression projects, ensuring detailed planning, procurement, and a strong focus on on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Must have Project Management experience within the Fire & Security sector.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality fire & security systems projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • High level of organisation and diary management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a high quality range of fire & security systems (monitoring, CCTV, alarms, access control, fire suppression).
  • Visit sites across the South East & South West (diary dependent) to ensure successful ongoing delivery of projects.
  • Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a high level of detail.
  • Ensure procurement and reconciliation of materials to deliver best value and prevent delays.
  • Brief site management team to fulfil the project requirements.
  • Carry out weekly reviews of progress, budget, resources and forward planning.
  • Produce RAMS and H&S documents and ensure adherence.
  • Manage temporary and permanent staff to meet project needs.
  • Maintain and manage construction sites and subcontractors per company procedures.

  • Producing relevant RAMS and H&S documents, ensuring that these are adhered to
  • Ensure timely management of both temporary and permanent staff to meet the requirements of each project
  • Maintaining and managing construction sites and subcontractors, ensuring all subcontractors follow the companies procedures and processes
Ideal candidate
  • Must have Project Management experience within the Fire and Security sector
  • May be open to a Project Manager that has only Fire sector experience
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
  • Must be a great team player
  • Must be a hard worker that's ready to get stuck in
  • High levels of organisation
  • Confident individual that can deal with any problems that occur on site
  • Computer Literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Wants to take charge and be in control
