Job summary

Banner Lane Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering programmes from initiation to delivery. You will coordinate electronics, hardware, firmware, software, manufacturing and supply chain teams, translate evolving requirements into plans, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering or manufacturing projects.
• Background in electronics, hardware, or technology-led product development environments.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and cost control capability.
• Experience delivering multiple projects in parallel.
• Familiarity with structured project methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, APMP or similar).
• Experience working with both agile and stage-gate lifecycles.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-growing, evolving organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, cost, schedule, and quality are controlled.
• Translate early or unclear inputs into defined requirements, delivery plans, and realistic schedules.
• Develop and manage work breakdown structures, cost estimates, and project plans.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across electronics, hardware, firmware, software, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and resource conflicts across parallel projects.
• Support bids and proposals, providing delivery timelines and contributing to tender responses.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, reviews, and milestone evidence are produced.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project and engineering processes.
