A leading defense contractor in Barrow-in-Furness is looking for a Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of manufacturing technology projects. The role involves leading project planning, managing risks, and engaging stakeholders. Essential skills include strong communication and project management knowledge. This team sits within Technology Enablement and has a portfolio of 25+ projects at any one time. Coming into this role, you will enable improved project performance through project tracking, risk & issue management, stakeholder management, with a delivery focus.
It is expected that the PM will be comfortable holding key stakeholders to account, building relationships across functions and programmes to enable delivery, managing multiple projects at any one time with varying levels of changing priorities.
