About the Apprenticeship

Join the BBC as an apprentice and kick‑start a career in project management. You will learn on the job and study towards an industry‑recognised apprenticeship qualification with one of our learning providers.

Your Key Responsibilities and Impact
  • Support project planning and delivery related to key priorities.
  • Assist with the creation and delivery of assets and materials that promote high‑profile content as part of external and internal campaigns.
  • Manage various administrative tasks supporting project delivery that meet deadlines.
Learning Levels
  • Level 4: Covers Business Environment, Stakeholder Management, and Project Planning & Control
  • Level 5: Focuses on Project Management Professionalism and Professional Development
  • Level 6: Includes Programme & Portfolio Management, Project Leadership & Governance, and Change & Risk Management

The programme concludes with an integrated End Point Assessment (EPA). During your apprenticeship you will work towards a BSc (Hons) Level 6 degree in Project Management, alongside earning the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)

Your Skills and Eligibility
  • Have a passion to learn more about Business Management or Project Management.
  • Want to work with data or business‑management information, generating reports, analysing data, or using spreadsheets, demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Are motivated, accountable and self‑driven. Must be an effective team player with the ability to communicate with various stakeholders internally and externally.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Be 18 years old or over by September 2026.
  • Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years.
  • Be legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship.
  • Not enrolled in another apprenticeship.
  • Not have completed or hold a qualification in the subject at the same or higher level.
  • Have Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) at grades 9‑4 / A‑C.
  • Have a Level 3 qualification equivalent to 96 UCAS points (e.g. A Levels, BTEC, NVQ).
