Responsibilities
  • Define and implement project management strategies and methodologies across multiple projects and teams.
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers, fostering a culture of continuous growth and improvement.
  • Serve as a key liaison between stakeholders and project teams, translating business requirements into actionable project plans and ensuring successful project execution.
  • Contribute to the overall project management vision and direction within the organization.
  • Accountability for ensuring project completion within the specified scope, cost, and timeline while meeting business requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements, including IBM, client employees, and third‑party vendors.
  • Deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders and ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Experience with project management software
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
  • A passion for project management and continuous improvement is essential
  • Extensive experience in project management and methodologies
  • Extensive team‑leading experience in a variety of different settings, e.g. on/off‑shore delivery, rainbow teams, staff augmentation, multiple squads virtually and co‑located
  • Demonstrable evidence of strong commercial and financial management experience
  • Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive organizational change
  • Proven experience in leading project management initiatives and projects
  • Certified project‑management certifications, e.g. PMI PMP and/or PgMP
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
