What you'll be doing as Project Manager

You will oversee refurbishment projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will liaise with clients, consultants, and site teams while driving commercial viability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The role involves some international travel to visit clients etc.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead site teams to execute projects efficiently and safely.
  • Plan and manage projects from initial enquiry to handover.
  • Chair meetings with clients, sub-contractors, and internal teams.
  • Develop pre-contract plans, method statements, site layouts, and health C safety strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and compliance with standards.
  • Produce handover documentation and ensure operational readiness.
  • Mentor, support, and manage staff, promoting a motivational and high-performing culture.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders and uphold Fortis Vision's values.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in project management within refurbishment, energy, or planned maintenance projects.
  • Degree in a relevant construction-related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, IT literate (MS Office), and valid driving license.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and numeracy skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
  • Commitment to Health C Safety regulations (CDM compliance).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
