Responsible to the Building Services Manager for ensuring the NIHE is fully compliant with its statutory and regulatory duties to its customers, employees, and third parties and to assist in the management and co-ordination of the planned and cyclical servicing and maintenance programme for the specialist mechanical and electrical equipment in NIHE Offices, Depots, High Rise Residential Blocks and Hostels.Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.

Responsibilities
  • To contribute to all aspects of the Building Services Function of the Building Safety Department, to ensure NIHE’s compliance with its statutory and legislative Health and Safety obligations.
  • To provide assurance reports to senior management on the testing, inspection, maintenance and certification associated with all compliance areas.
  • To make recommendations to management based on professional judgement, experience where significant risks are identified or situations where immediate action is required to prevent danger to life, serious injury, damage to property, prosecution.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent (level 6) qualification in a relevant technical qualification, relevant to any of the compliance areas managed by this role PLUS a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
