Job description

We are recruiting for a trusted partner to major UK and international contractors delivering high-quality industrial and commercial projects. As an integral part of their Sales Team your mission is to survey and expertly manage new commercial installations encompassing security, fire, environmental and automatic doors. You’ll become the dedicated point of contact for their corporate Key Accounts ensuring projects valued between 10k – 500k are executed flawlessly within budget and on schedule.

Your technical expertise will be pivotal as you provide comprehensive support across their diverse product portfolio which includes Roller & Fire Shutters, Industrial Sectional & Bi‑Folding doors and Speed Doors.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating project delivery from pre‑contract meetings through to final handover working closely with clients, sales, production and installation teams. While industry background is flexible, strong project management, documentation and communication skills are essential.

This is a mostly remote role ideal for someone based along the M4 corridor with travel to sites and occasional head office visits (typically once every 1‑2 weeks).

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee projects ranging from small installations to complex multi‑product contracts.
  • Serve as the dedicated point of contact for our esteemed corporate clients.
  • Expertly survey, plan and manage commercial door installation projects.
  • Ensure the timely and cost‑effective delivery of projects.
  • Offer clients invaluable technical advice and support across our extensive product range.
  • Apply your expertise to contractual sites with precision.
  • Attend pre‑contractual meetings with existing clients, securing and advancing projects confidently.
  • Meet key client deadlines and exceed their expectations.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project risks, technical challenges and scheduling conflicts.
Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience in project management ideally within construction, engineering or industrial sectors.
  • Strong administrative and documentation skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Knowledge of the industry, including systems, materials and installation techniques.
  • Possess a keen understanding of associated construction trades and the ability to adapt engineering designs as needed.
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to create and manage project plans and budgets.
  • Great communication and client relationship skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A drive to deliver high‑quality work for our clients.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and technical documents accurately.
  • Desirable qualifications: SMSTS, IPAF or equivalent (not essential).
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
