We service rotating equipment within the UK market to keep heat and power in our homes. We help customers maintain and upgrade their assets while working with them to digitalise their operations and make data work for them. For these and future projects, we need experienced and passionate people to challenge ourselves and deliver first class customer service.

As a project manager within the offshore team you will be responsible for delivery of projects scopes to a range of clients. The role is technically and commercially responsible for all assigned projects and will also work closely with the Sales function to develop opportunities and manage key clients. Also supporting onshore activities if required.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Act as focal point for all Customer issues concerning Siemens’ Energy rotating equipment fleet. Drive customer satisfaction and value add through ownership and entrepreneurship.
  • Planning and safe delivery of all outages, overseeing the production of outage documentation, maintaining, and developing mitigation strategies for all pre-identified or emerging risks. Planning and execution to be in accordance with Project Excellence@Siemens Energy
  • Co-ordination of unscheduled maintenance activities and breakdowns ensuring that a structured and considered approach is adopted.
  • Briefing of all personnel who shall travel to the Customer site. Conduct close monitoring of their activities whilst deployed and co-ordinate appropriate levels of support from back office functions.
  • Commercially responsible for projects and customer accounts with a focus on maximising profitability through scope & risk management and up-sell.
  • Lead and participate in cross functional improvement projects and initiatives to drive solutions in accordance with business needs
  • Support Sales function by assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives to ensure project feasibility
  • Develop strategic relationships with the product centres to ensure the desired level of service is attained across the fleet.
  • Contribute to data quality in all business systems associated with allocated customer accounts
  • Some travel to customer sites in the UK and visits to product centres abroad may be required
What You Bring
  • Background experience in one or more of the following: PM Energy Industry, Energy Transition/Renewable Energy, Oil and Gas, Power Generation
  • A proven track record in project management & delivery
  • Attention to detail and including safety at work Zero Harm, (IOSH desirable)
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Able to network and develop key relationships at all levels
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in Engineering, Business or Project Management
  • disciplines preferable
  • Industry qualifications (APM, PRINCE2 or PMI) are desirable.
  • Experience in use of Project Management tools OnePM, Microsoft Project, SAP, Salesforce or similar
