Job summary

Southern Water is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of planned projects as part of our AMP programme, with a flexible hybrid arrangement across Hampshire, Kent and Sussex.

You will manage projects from initiation to completion, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing scope, schedule, cost and quality to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable outcomes for customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planned projects within a utility, infrastructure, construction, or engineering environment.
• Ability to manage full project lifecycle from initiation to delivery.
• Strong planning, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and key milestones
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective project delivery
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Foster collaboration between internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates, forecasts, and reports
• Ensure compliance with governance, health and safety, and business requirements
• Work closely with Senior Project Managers and Programme Managers to support successful programme delivery

What You Will Be Responsible For

This is an exciting opportunity to manage projects from initiation through to completion, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery.

You’ll play a key role in turning plans into successful outcomes, helping deliver improvements that benefit our customers, communities, and the environment.
