Job summary

Mego Employment Limited is recruiting for a Project Manager to join a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor operating across Bristol and Port Talbot. You will oversee the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring safety, quality, commercial performance and client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle.

• Proven project management experience in Civil Engineering, Construction or Infrastructure.
• Valid CSCS Card is required.
• Experience managing project programmes, budgets, stakeholders and site operations.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Bristol and Port Talbot with a full UK driving licence.

Project Manager

Location: Bristol Airport, Bristol & Port Talbot

Salary: £350 per day

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 19:00

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Project Manager to join a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor operating across Bristol and Port Talbot. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering complex projects within demanding operational environments.

Working across major civil engineering projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of works from pre-construction through to completion, while ensuring safety, quality, commercial performance and client satisfaction are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to successful handover.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and resource plans.
• Monitor project performance, costs, risks and opportunities while maintaining project profitability.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners, ensuring projects are delivered safely and to the highest standards.

About You

Essential

• Proven Project Management experience within Civil Engineering, Construction or Infrastructure projects.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Experience managing project programmes, budgets, stakeholders and site operations.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Bristol and Port Talbot with a full UK driving licence.

Desirable

• Previous experience within airport, highways or major infrastructure environments.
• Site Manager experience within civil engineering projects.
• Strong commercial awareness including valuations, variations and cost control.
