Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear in Warrington is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead national-scale programmes in the nuclear sector. You will manage delivery across work packages and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid 37-hour week at Dalton Avenue, near Warrington.

The role requires NEC4 contract experience, strong cost and risk management, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to integrate activities into broader delivery plans.

The role

As a Project Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering programmes of national importance across the nuclear sector.

This is a permanent role working 37 hours per week based at Dalton Avenue. Hybrid working patterns are available.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

• Managing project work packages to ensure delivery against agreed scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.
• Coordinating delivery teams, suppliers and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Monitoring project performance, risks, costs and deliverables against established plans.
• Building positive customer relationships and supporting effective stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supporting the delivery of engineering and supplier-led work packages under the guidance of senior project leadership

Essential experience of the Project Manager:

• Experience working in a project management environment, delivering complex projects or programmes.
• Experience working with NEC4 contracts.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary delivery teams, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Experience integrating project activities into wider programme delivery plans.
• Experience monitoring project costs, schedules, risks and deliverables.

Qualifications for the Project Manager:

• Project Management qualification or equivalent professional experience.
