Job description
Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and results-driven individual to lead and deliver strategic improvement initiatives within the Planned Care Programme. As Project Manager, you will play a key role in shaping national guidance, developing standards, and driving implementation across NHS Wales to improve the delivery and outcomes of key health services.

Responsibilities
  • Support Clinical Implementation Networks (CINs) and national platforms for collaborative working between NHS Performance & Improvement, NHS Wales, Welsh Government, and wider partners.
  • Collaborate with CIN clinical leads and multidisciplinary teams to manage and lead programmes of work, producing evidence-based guidance and facilitating its dissemination.
  • Work directly with health boards to co-develop, implement and embed national guidance and standards that improve planned care services, ensuring improvements are practical, measurable, and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and report against key performance indicators, using a variety of data sources.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and communication strategy, building strong relationships to deliver sustainable change.
