Project Manager – Retail Fit‑Out (Shopfitting)

Location: London (office‑based) with nationwide UK travel

Reporting to: Delivery Director

Overview

An established retail fit‑out contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver fast‑track shopfitting projects for premium retail brands across the UK. This is an end‑to‑end, client‑facing role with full responsibility from survey through to handover and commercial close‑out.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage retail fit‑out projects from pre‑construction to completion
• Act as the main client contact during delivery
• Lead design coordination, subcontractor procurement, and programme planning
• Maintain full control of site safety, quality, programme, and cost
• Manage variations, risk, and commercial performance
• Coordinate site teams and subcontractors to achieve snag‑free delivery
• Oversee handover, O&M manuals, as‑builts, and defects management

Experience Required

• Proven Project Manager experience within retail fit‑out / shopfitting
• Strong technical and trade knowledge
• Experience delivering fast‑track, multi‑site retail projects
• Confident client‑facing communicator
• Strong commercial and programme control skills
