Job summary

Steatite Limited in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Project Manager to take end-to-end ownership of complex Defence and engineering projects. You will coordinate engineering, customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure delivery on scope, time and budget.

You will have a proven track record delivering complex technical projects, strong governance, and supplier management. This role requires BPSS clearance and eligibility for UK Security Check (SC); on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• MS Project or equivalent planning tools.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join Steatite and take end-to-end ownership of complex projects across our growing Defence and engineering business.

Our technology operates in some of the world’s most demanding environments – and we need a Project Manager who can bring together engineering, customers, suppliers and internal teams to make sure we deliver.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading complex technical projects through the full project lifecycle
• Owning scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk and change
• Managing project plans, milestones, dependencies and delivery roadmaps
• Leading multi-disciplinary teams across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Commercial and Finance

What are we looking for?

You will already have a strong track record of independently delivering complex projects within Defence, Aerospace, engineering, manufacturing or another technical environment.

Experience within UK Defence, technical manufacturing, Earned Value Management or bid support would be particularly valuable.

Due to the nature of the projects and customers we support, this role is subject to successful BPSS clearance and requires eligibility to obtain and maintain UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
