About the role

The Project Manager will play a central role in delivering strategic and operational projects that strengthen DeterTech’s performance, efficiency, and customer experience.

Working within the Project Management Office (PMO) and reporting to the Head of Projects, this role partners across all functions, including Operations, Engineering, IT, Product, Commercial, Compliance, HR, and Finance, to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and with lasting impact.

Combining strong project management discipline with people‑focused change management, the Project Manager ensures projects are not only delivered successfully but also embedded effectively across teams and geographies.

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
  • Lead the end-to-end management of projects across multiple functions, ensuring clear scope, structured plans, and disciplined execution.
  • Define objectives, success measures, and resource requirements in collaboration with project sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Track progress against milestones, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure consistent governance, reporting, and documentation in line with PMO standards.
Change Management & Adoption
  • Build and deliver effective change and communication plans to ensure smooth implementation and colleague engagement.
  • Support leaders and teams through transitions by clarifying impacts, providing tools, and facilitating feedback.
  • Champion new ways of working and ensure adoption is sustained post-delivery.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with leaders and colleagues across all departments to align projects to business priorities and ensure effective coordination.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional meetings, ensuring alignment, accountability, and progress transparency.
  • Communicate updates clearly, adapting style and detail to suit varied audiences, from frontline colleagues to executive sponsors.
Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to the evolution of the PMO by sharing lessons learned and improving processes, templates, and standards.
  • Identify opportunities for simplification, efficiency, and better collaboration through project delivery insights.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Proven experience managing cross‑functional projects in fast‑moving, multi‑site organisations.
  • Skilled in both project management and change management disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse project teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Experience with structured methodologies (Prince2, PMI, Agile, or similar).
  • Familiarity with organisational transformation, systems implementation, or process improvement programmes.
  • Experience in manufacturing, technology, or service environments is advantageous.
