Job summary

MGroup Transport (Aviation) seeks a Civils Project Manager to join our team, delivering airport projects and maintenance activities with a focus on safety, compliance and value. Primarily supporting our Aviation client at Heathrow, the role involves leadership across tender to handover and coordinating resources to ensure high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Ideally NVQL7 or equivalent senior management qualification.
• Formal project management qualification (APM or equivalent).
• Experience leading aviation-based civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations.
• Commercial acumen with NEC forms of contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from tender/pre-construction through to completion and handover.
• Act as point of contact for clients, stakeholders and third parties.
• Prepare Risk Assessments, Method Statements and H&S Site plans.
• Manage subcontractors and allocate resources across multiple projects.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and maintain client satisfaction.

MGroup Transport (Aviation) are seeking a Civils Project Manager to join our team. We are excited to present this new opportunity for a talented Project Manager Who is looking to be involved on a variety of challenging Projects. Focused on safety, compliance and delivery.

The team provides technical and engineering services for a range of civils related disciplines, and activities, focused on delivering great service everyday supporting our clients’ primary assets to enable an extraordinary airport, fit for the future.

Primarily supporting our Aviation client at Heathrow – this role is suitable for an experienced Aviation biased Civils Project Manager or Site Managers looking to progress their career to the next level.

Delivering airport projects and maintenance activities, effectively managing multiple programmes. Focused on best use of resource, plant and materials, to deliver great value, quality, safely while maintaining compliance with internal and client needs.Where you will have a hand-on approach from tender and pre-construction to project completion and handover. You will have the ability to grasp the businesses vision and support a strategy that translates into a strong and innovative delivery of high-quality Electrical project works in a highly governed and challenging transport industry.Being client focused, showing excellent understanding of the scope of works . Using a proven business and commercial acumen and working to The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, you will deliver maintenance and construction projects. To act as point of contact for Clients, stakeholders and third parties and lead the project team with the timely production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements, H&S Site Management, Work Package Plans and support the collation of required information for Construction Phase Plans.Ideally qualified with NVQL7: Construction Senior Management or equivalent, with a successful track record managing Aviation based projectsIdeally a formal project management qualification, such as APMProject management & delivery experience within a safety critical environmentFully conversant with safety regulations (particularly CDM)Possess a strong commercial acumen with knowledge of project management and NEC forms of contract, to manage day to day contract obligationsDemonstrable experience with both the commercial & project deliverables on previous projectsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate the people working with youAbility to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to manage work efficiently between multiple projects.Share knowledge and coach other team members in order to support improvements in team's performance.Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractorsCSCS Card – BlackSMSTS QualifiedFull Clean Driving License5yr Traceable employmentIdeally Level 3 QCF Certificate in Utility Mapping and SurveyingIdeally Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent.Ideally Incorporated or chartered in relevant discipline
