Overview

Project Manager - Systems Integration / Industrial Controls – Sheffield – Permanent – £60-70k. Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Sheffield based systems integrator seeking an experienced Project Manager with first class communication skills and a proven track record in delivering automation and control software projects.

Responsibilities
  • Successful, proven track record of delivering projects for a systems integrator within automation, software and systems engineering, ideally within the utilities sector.
  • Understand, review and communicate stakeholder requirements, while being capable of managing the customer, the engineering teams and the scope of the projects.
  • Be commercially and technically responsible for the delivery of control systems to end customers.
  • Establish the need for resources during each stage of the project, engage with the engineering teams to have the proper resources available, schedule and assign all project tasks.
  • Monitor and control stage payments and costs to stay within contract obligations and budget limits.
  • Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer goals.
  • Follow up the project during installation and commissioning stage.
  • Role will be office based with occasional trips to site expected.
  • Ideally have a recognised Project Management qualification.
Location & Benefits

The office is commutable from Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, South Leeds, Doncaster, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Chesterfield and Worksop. Salary: £60-70k, permanent role.
