Job summary

A leading construction firm in Pennington seeks a Project Manager to oversee various stages of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing residential, commercial, or educational projects, paired with excellent communication and IT skills. Qualifications

  • Experience delivering projects from concept to completion.
  • Solid understanding of CDM, Building Regulations, and construction processes.

Project Manager – Construction

Location: Lymington / Hampshire

Salary: Up to £60,000 + package (DOE)

The Role
  • Planning, coordinating and overseeing all project stages
  • Managing building contracts, ensuring full compliance and issuing necessary notices (payments, delays, instructions, etc.)
  • Monitoring performance to ensure projects meet specification, programme, budget and quality targets
  • Procuring and appointing contractors and suppliers, maintaining strong working relationships
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance across all sites
  • Reviewing costs, valuations and issuing variations and contract instructions
  • Preparing tender documentation, evaluating returns and reporting
  • Attending site meetings and providing clients with clear updates on progress and costs
  • Supporting cost planning and value engineering activities
About You
  • Proven experience managing construction projects (residential, commercial or education preferred)
  • Experience delivering projects from concept through to completion
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Solid understanding of CDM, Building Regulations and construction processes
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • MRICS qualification preferred but not essential
