A county council in Penmorfa is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple high-profile funding programmes. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management, excellent report writing skills, and the ability to engage stakeholders effectively. This role involves coordinating reporting to the government and overseeing financial controls. Successful candidates will have a relevant qualification in project management and experience managing large projects.

We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join our Corporate Project Office team. This is an exciting role within the Service for an experienced individual to support with the delivery of a number of externally funded schemes within the Economy and Regeneration Service.
About the role
You will have responsibility for leading and managing the delivery of multiple, high-profile capital funding programmes that the Strategic Economic Investment team lead on for the Authority and for Growing Mid Wales. This is a pivotal role that enables the strategic delivery of Ceredigion and Mid Wales’ economic priorities and will see you work directly with the Corporate Manager and other Senior Officers to manage the funding successfully.

About the candidate
We are looking for an experienced, suitably qualified candidate with proven experience in successfully managing the delivery of large projects and programmes. This includes experience of monitoring programme and projects in areas of planning, risks, issues, finance and resources. You will have experience of engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders, excellent report writing skills and the ability to collate and disseminate information and prioritise and deliver tasks to tight deadlines.
