Infleqtion has offices in the USA, United Kingdom and Australia. This is a full-time position in our Kidlington, Oxford office. Our flexible working policy enables all full-time employees to work up to 2 days a week from home as work permits.

Position Summary

Infleqtion UK's newly hired Project Manager will manage resources and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for budgets, timelines, change control and good governance.

Job Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities outlined below include essential functions of the role. Depending on business needs, this role may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties, however, these activities may change, or new ones may be assigned, over time.

  • Translate technical scope and requirements into actionable project plans with deliverables and milestones
  • Coordinate the allocation of internal resources for the execution of multiple projects
  • Ensure that projects are delivered within budget and track spend and commitments against allocations
  • Use appropriate techniques to manage change in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and log lessons learned
  • Ensure risks are identified and mitigations are managed appropriately
  • Track issues and escalate as appropriate
  • Establish and maintain relationships with funding agencies, collaborators, and suppliers
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Lead project reviews with funding agencies, customers or Infleqtion leadership

Requirements

  • Technical background, preferably in one of the following fields: physics, computer science or engineering;
  • Proven work experience as a project manager
  • Excellent client-facing skills which allows for strong stakeholder relationships based on trust and transparency
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • A certification in project management e.g. PRINCE II
  • Good verbal and written skills with the ability to effectively share information with technical and non-technical staff
  • Good collaboration skills, able to work in a team environment where engagement and participation are an expected part of successful job performance

Desirable

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical subject
  • PMQ/PMI certification
  • An understanding or hands-on experience in the quantum industry
