Select Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a Norfolk-based building services company. The role involves hands-on on-site leadership and client-facing duties across restoration and commercial projects.

The successful candidate will run projects from start to finish, coordinating programme, cost and quality while maintaining a focus on health and safety. Prior experience and formal construction qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing construction or building services projects.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident dealing directly with clients and subcontractors.
• Relevant qualification in construction management or equivalent experience.
• SMSTS and CSCS (or willingness to obtain).
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with resilience to see projects through when challenges arise.

Responsibilities

Project Manager

Our client, an established and respected building services company based in Norfolk, is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team. The Role

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of projects from start to finish, working across a varied portfolio spanning restoration and commercial work. It's a hands-on role requiring someone equally comfortable on site and in front of clients, balancing programme, cost, and quality without losing sight of the bigger picture.

The Role Will Involve

• Managing projects from pre-start through to completion and handover
• Overseeing programme, budget, and quality across live sites
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider internal team
• Managing site teams and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient delivery
• Identifying and resolving issues quickly to keep projects on track
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards throughout
• Reporting progress and managing risk at project level
