A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Project Manager for a €30M commercial project in Dublin City Centre. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Construction Management, at least 10 years of experience in the construction industry, and a proven track record on restoration and conservation projects. This role involves managing personnel and ensuring projects meet quality standards and deadlines. Competitive salary of £55K - £60K plus travel package offered.

Overview

Job Title – Project Manager

Project – €30M Commercial Project

Job Location – Dublin City Centre

Salary – £55K - £60K + travel package

About the Company

Working with a Tier 1 Main Building Contractor specialising in commercial and public works projects across Ireland.

Ideally applicants will have experience with restoration and refurbishment works – there is a protected structure as well as new build elements with underpinning and piling involved.

Quite a technical project but would look great on any one’s CV!

The Role
  • Coordinate and monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
  • Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
  • Report to the Contracts Manager.
  • Direct and Manage personnel, site staff and subcontractors and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and plan actions.
  • Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.
Requirements
  • Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the construction industry with a Main Contractor in ROI.
  • Proven record of working on restoration & conservation projects valued over €10M.
  • Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors at a time.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
