How you’ll play your part

In this role, you will lead a project team in delivering a solution to the customer according to the approved project plan, ensuring it is delivered in budget, on schedule, and within scope, while providing status reports and advice to Management and User Groups.

Main Accountabilities
  • Manage and control project initiation, including agreeing project scope, resourcing, cost estimation, and stakeholder approval.
  • Construct high‑level and detailed project plans with interdependencies and non‑project controls.
  • Lead, monitor, and control project performance (scope, cost, schedule, quality, deliverables), including change control, risk management, and issue escalation.
  • Determine project quality goals and ensure compliance with Mercedes‑Benz standards.
  • Provide day‑to‑day leadership and direction to the project team and manage all project resources, including subcontractors.
  • Supplier management: engage suppliers, support evaluation, review adherence to standards, and manage delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate architecture, design, and development activities through suppliers or internal resources.
  • Ensure delivery of required documentation to agreed standards and policies.
  • Manage, control, and report project budgets and resource utilisation.
  • Establish and execute a communication plan with the project team and the customer; manage formal reporting to the Porsche Project Management Office.
  • Provide regular status to sponsors, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Manage stakeholder communication up to level 4 and maintain steering committee meetings and updates.
  • Develop and review test and release plan for each project.
  • Manage user acceptance testing and obtain approval of deliverables.
  • Oversee handover to operational support and perform project close and lessons‑learned activities.
  • Manage relationships with various ITM units within ITM UK, other markets and Head Office.
  • Manage Business Partners within UK Companies and Head Office functions as required.
  • Manage external service providers to deliver results.

  • Knowledge of the automotive captive finance market.
  • Ability to apply project management disciplines and processes.
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve potential project problems.
  • Experience with organisational change concepts.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle many tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment with ambiguity and make judgement calls.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage project budgets.
