Overview

The Role: As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple waste water civil engineering schemes, from initiation through to handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting, ensuring rigorous cost control.
• Oversee design development, procurement, and site construction activities.
• Effectively manage client relationships (e.g., Water Utilities) and all project stakeholders.
• Lead and motivate the site delivery teams, including Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality regulations.
• Manage project risks and opportunities proactively.

What You\'ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering civil engineering schemes.
• Essential experience within the UK Water Sector is required, particularly with Waste Water Treatment Works (WwTW) or network projects.
• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract (e.g., NEC3/NEC4).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrable track record of managing project finances and schedules.
• SMSTS certification is desirable.
