What's the Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our project management team. For this role you will be able to evidence extensive experience in project management within a construction consultancy.

This role will offer you the opportunity to lead on projects both independently and under the guidance of a Project Director in a variety of sectors including commercial office, healthcare, education and defence.

What you need to do to be effective in this role
  • Ability to successfully deliver projects and support in the management client relationships
  • Proven construction project management and managing professional teams experience required
  • Experience across the pre-construction and construction stages of a project
  • Experience of report writing
  • An ability to take on responsibility and act with a level of independence of senior management when called for.
  • An understanding of both NEC and JCT contracts would be beneficial
The skills and experience you need to have for this role
  • Construction project management experience is essential
  • Experience using Microsoft Office software and Microsoft Project
  • Degree in a construction related subject is desirable, but not essential. All degree backgrounds will be considered
  • Professional accreditation or working towards professional accreditation desirable (RICS, CIOB, APM)
  • Experience of delivering presentations and holding client facing meetings
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in report writing
