You will ensure effective management and timely delivery, working closely with clients and internal teams. Salary negotiable between £55K - £65K with benefits including health insurance and 33 days annual leave.

Job description

The Project Manager will be key point of contact for a defence sector client and you will ensure the effective management and on time delivery of all machining and fabrication projects.

Duties
  • Work closely with the client and HoD's including engineering, design, production, planning, quality assurance to ensure works are completed on time.
  • Monitor work in progress including fabrication and CNC machining functions and effectively resolve any delays / disruptions.
  • Operate as the key point of contact for the customer on all projects and commercial matters.
  • Regularly monitor and report on project progress internally and externally.
  • Ensure all KPIs including customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained.

Candidate

Qualifications
  • You will be an experienced Project Manager with extensive experience in the precision engineering and fabrication arena.
  • Preferably you will have excellent knowledge and understanding of manufacturing precision engineered products for highly regulated industries such as the Nuclear and Defence sectors.
  • You will have excellent management and organisational skills along with strong commercial acumen and communication skills.
  • HNC to degree level education in mechanical engineering preferred; how-time served managers welcome to apply.
