Job description

Morgan Hunt are currently working with a regulatory organisation in their search for two Interim Project Managers to support the delivery of priority change projects across a complex and fast-moving portfolio. These roles sit at the heart of a growing Project Portfolio Management function and offer an excellent opportunity to influence organisation-wide transformation.

The projects you lead will focus on the end-to-end delivery of new products and services, such as training programmes, sector reports, events, and other key outputs. Ideally bringing experience from a public-sector organisation or regulatory body, you will work closely with internal managers who act as subject matter experts for each product area. While they provide the technical and content expertise, you will take ownership of planning, coordination, and delivery, ensuring that every project is delivered on time and within scope to a high standard.

The successful candidates will be experienced project managers with a experience of delivering complex projects end-to-end in a regulated, public sector or similarly structured environment. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and governance skills are essential, as is the ability to operate confidently in a multi-project environment.

  • Support directorates with standing up smaller change activities (pilots, service improvements, trials).
  • Coach colleagues and contribute to building project management capability across the organisation.
  • Support continuous improvement of project delivery tools, processes and the wider PPM function.
Candidate Profile
  • Experience managing projects end-to-end in complex environments.
