Job summary

Experis UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a complex defence technology programme. The role is hands-on, with a strong technical background, delivering across multiple stakeholders, suppliers and workstreams in a demanding environment.

Active DV/SC clearance is essential; inside IR35; 12-month initial contract with London focus and some UK travel. ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Proven governance and delivery of complex projects in a Defence/tech environment.
• Experience with risk, issue and dependency management across multiple workstreams.
• Budget control, forecasting and financial reporting for large programmes.
• Management of third-party suppliers and delivery partners.
• Experience delivering complex technical projects; MOD/Defence sector preferred.
• DV/SC clearance required; Inside IR35 contractor.
• London-based with UK travel; ASAP start; 12-month initial contract.

Responsibilities

• Manage budget, forecast financials and cost controls.

DV/SC Cleared - Project Manager | Defence Sector

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to support a complex technology programme within the Defence sector.

We're looking for a hands-on PM with a strong technical background who is comfortable managing delivery across multiple stakeholders, suppliers and workstreams.

Key experience required:

• Project governance and delivery
• Risk, issue and dependency management
• Budget, cost and forecasting
• Third-party supplier and delivery partner management
• Experience delivering complex technical or technology projects
• MOD/Defence experience strongly preferred
• Experience of emerging technologies would be beneficial
• Inside IR35
• 2.5 days per week / 18.75 hours
• London preferred, with some UK travel required
• Initial 12-month contract with potential to extend to March 2028
• Active DV/SC clearance is essential
• ASAP start
