Job summary

Halian partners with a leading global payments organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager. The role leads strategic initiatives, enterprise transformation programmes, and complex integration projects in an international, commercially focused environment.

You will drive cross-functional alignment with Product and Technology, manage migration planning, governance forums, and executive reporting, while ensuring on-time delivery and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering large-scale strategic programmes within Financial Services, Payments, FinTech, Banking, Treasury or Corporate Payments environments.
• Strong background leading enterprise-wide transformation and business change initiatives.
• Demonstrable experience managing complex integration programmes, including post-merger or post-acquisition activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior executives and leadership teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to align programme delivery with business objectives.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
• Excellent communication, governance, reporting, and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a complex payments customer migration programme.
• Drive product gap analysis and coordinate closure activities required for successful migration.

• Manage end-to-end migration planning, scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks.

• Manage stakeholder communications across business, technology, and leadership teams.
• Ensure quality assurance, operational readiness, and successful customer transition.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Support executive-level decision-making through clear reporting and escalation management.

Pay range and compensation package

Location: London

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week

Duration: Initial contract with extension potential
