Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a significant construction project in Garforth. Project Manager (Construction/Engineering)

Our client is expanding their manufacturing facility in Garforth and needs an experienced Project Manager to lead a 6‑month, high‑impact project to deliver structural expansion and the installation of new, large‑scale production machinery.

Key Duties – Project Manager

• Full project lifecycle ownership – planning, execution, monitoring, and handover
• Oversee civil, structural, and M&E works for site expansion
• Coordinate delivery, rigging, and commissioning of heavy machinery
• Manage contractors, budgets, timelines, and risk
• Ensure full compliance with CDM, health & safety, and quality standards
• Report progress to senior stakeholders and resolve issues on‑site

Qualifications & Skills – Project Manager

• Proven track record delivering construction/expansion projects in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Experience managing large machinery installation (crane lifts, precision alignment, commissioning)
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and site safety
• PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent qualification (preferred)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Immediate availability or short notice
