Job summary

Renault Group's Alpine Formula 1 Team is seeking an organised Project Manager to own car-section projects from concept to completion, coordinating design, manufacturing and schedules at the Enstone facility. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams across engineering and operations to ensure milestones are met and performance targets achieved.

Qualifications

We are looking for an organised, driven and proactive Project Manager to join our Projects team and play a key role in delivering critical Formula 1 projects. The Role Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects within an assigned Formula 1 car section, managing delivery from concept through to completion. You will work closely with Technical and Operations teams to coordinate resources, manage risks, and ensure critical milestones are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating design resource planning and ensuring timely release of engineering data and drawings.
• Creating and maintaining project manufacturing plans aligned to programme delivery milestones.
• Leading regular planning, production and status meetings across multiple departments.
• Managing work orders and associated activities to support accurate capacity planning and on‑time delivery.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing recovery plans where required.
• Providing clear communication and reporting to stakeholders.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across project management processes and practices.
• Supporting health, safety, environmental and inclusion objectives throughout all activities.

About You

We're looking for a highly organised and motivated individual who is comfortable managing competing priorities in a demanding, high-performance environment. You'll ideally have:

• A recognised Project Management qualification (PRINCE2 or equivalent).
• Experience working within Formula1, motorsport, advanced engineering, automotive, aerospace, or a similarly fast‑paced technical environment.
• A degree in a relevant discipline.
• Strong project planning and scheduling experience.
• The ability to anticipate, identify and mitigate project risks.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent IT and systems skills.
• A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Fast forward nearly 70 years, and Alpine is now at the forefront of motor racing, competing alongside the elite in the FIA Formula1 World Championship and the World Endurance Championship as well as many other motorsport disciplines.

The original A110 road car was introduced in 1962 and, by the early 1970s, Alpine was a major force in topflight rally competition.
