Job summary

A civil engineering contractor is looking for a Project Manager to lead a water treatment project in the United Kingdom. Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocations.
  • Prepare project budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
  • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure contingency strategies.
  • Ensure that construction activities meet design specifications, standards, and regulations.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
  • Ensure all work complies with national regulations, permits, and environmental guidelines.
  • Manage contracts, evaluate claims, negotiate changes, and ensure obligations are met.
  • Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and communicate updates to clients and senior management.
