A leading marketing agency in London is looking for a Project Manager to oversee client projects from inception to delivery. The ideal candidate will have exceptional project delivery skills and experience in managing multiple projects in an agency setting. The role requires excellent client service and budget management abilities. The Project Manager is responsible for the management of the full life cycle of client projects from inception and requirements through to delivery. Project Managers at Octopus Group are all-rounders with experience of managing many different types of projects and love the satisfaction of delivering a project successfully, to an extremely high standard. They’re very adept and never shy away from being challenged with finding new ways to solve a problem.
Client service
Maintain the highest levels of client service across the account to provide an effective, enjoyable, first-class customer service and experience. Ensure all work is produced of the highest quality. Facilitate relationships between external and internal suppliers, ensuring up-to-date information is communicated clearly and in a timely fashion. Be present at client meetings where required.
Project Operations
Manage day-to-day operations for all projects as they move through the agency. From the coordination and ownership of daily project huddles to update team members on project priorities, deadlines, and requirements, through to the creation and management of schedules and timelines within Workbook, assigning tasks to different teams within the agency. Each project should be clearly mapped out in terms of resources, deadlines and considerations to ensure the successful delivery of all projects on time and to budget. Measures to reduce or eliminate project scope creep should be identified, communicate to project leads and applied accordingly. Project Managers are also responsible for the evaluation of project performance upon completion.
Supplier management and commercial rigor
End-to-end control of the budget process. Fully scope, create, evolve, and control the budget throughout its lifecycle. Take responsibility for sourcing and managing third party supplier costs required for the successful completion of a project. Maintain overall awareness of project budgets to manage costs and align with project lead on spend where required. Take responsibility for setting up jobs and raising Pos within SAP and ensuring the OG finance process is always adhered to.
