We are growing our Infrastructure projects and are adding a Project Manager to focus on substantial government department projects, with additional involvement in other sector projects for variety and multi-sector exposure.

You will work closely with our Senior Project Management team in London, overseeing projects and liaising with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams across Tetra Tech. This is an exciting opportunity to influence key projects and help deliver solutions that make a difference.

Your Role

We are seeking a passionate, high-performing Project Manager with a flexible management skillset:

  • A leader who can empower and inspire others to deliver successful outcomes
  • A collaborative team manager who will work with the whole project team to develop objectives and agree ways of working
  • Experience in managing JCT and NEC 3/4 contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms
  • Monitors progress against the schedule, manages resources against the baseline, and identifies variances that require action
  • Monitors financial performance throughout the project and prepares reports for stakeholders
  • Prepares the Risk Management plan and process to identify threats and opportunities, assess impacts, and develop suitable response plans
  • Manages the consistent application of quality assurance processes and standards
  • Establishes and maintains governance structures that define clear roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities
  • Develops and disseminates a stakeholder management and communications plan to meet project objectives
  • Establishes review points to inform governance and evaluate progress
  • Manages the change control process in line with contract conditions
  • Defines, evaluates, tracks, and realises the business benefits of the project
About you
  • Experience working on complex infrastructure projects
  • PMQ Accredited preferred
  • NEC 3/4 accredited preferred and experience with JCT form of contract
  • Suitability for security clearance, SC Cleared preferred
  • Experience managing multiple projects with interest in developing scheduling and project management skills
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to manage meetings with senior client representatives
  • Collaborative approach, including managing large technical teams
  • Proven ability to deliver to deadlines
  • Able to work with clients to deliver results
  • Professional and ethical in all actions
  • Ability to identify and develop a phased delivery approach, working with the client to agree requirements
  • Team player capable of delivering multiple projects to tight deadlines and building effective relationships
  • Determined approach to delivery
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to prepare and implement project tools including programmes, risk registers, Stakeholder Management Plans, Project Execution Plans, and Quality Assurance Plans
  • Driving licence preferred
