A consulting firm is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead digital transformation projects in the public sector. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager managing the delivery of projects, initiating and managing delivery controls and support and providing proportionate assurance. They are responsible for designing & delivering client projects, understand the value of the different project methodologies, alongside contributing to our practice approaches and collateral so that knowledge is retained and reused.
The post-holder will be part of the growing Business Change practice, reporting to the Head of Change Delivery. Our services to clients combines the skills and capabilities for designing and delivering digital transformation, combining tangible innovation, and emerging technologies to deliver sustainable value to our public sector clients. It brings together the change and technology capabilities to design and deliver innovative solutions and services that enable clients to understand and capture the practical benefits of emerging technology, with the project and programme management expertise to deliver them.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-profile and complex projects that have a significant impact on public services and infrastructure.
We are looking for individuals who have experience of successful project delivery, a background in digital and technological projects and a strong Agile methodology skillset, alongside wider PPM skills and a broad understanding of the UK public services landscape with experience in different sectors.
In addition to demonstrable stakeholder engagement skills, they will have a good understanding about the challenges faced in public sector delivery and an interest in innovating with new techniques and technology to support the effective project delivery.
