Job summary

Porterhouse Recruitment is seeking a confident Project Manager for a Cheltenham-based home improvement specialist. This office-based role requires organisation and coordination of building and installation projects, with site visits as needed.

You will work closely with management, trades and installers to keep projects on schedule, cost-controlled and progressing, with occasional site visits to check quality and progress. Previous construction experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, building, renovations or home improvements.
• Solid knowledge of building works and project coordination.
• Capable of working independently and taking responsibility.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage several priorities.
• Comfortable liaising with trades, installers and site personnel.
• Capable of monitoring costs and ensuring accurate project information.
• CAD or AutoCAD experience is advantageous.

Project Manager

Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Role Type: Predominantly office based, with site visits and meetings as required

About the Company

Our client is an established Cheltenham-based home improvement company specialising in bespoke conservatories, orangeries, extensions, garden rooms and creative living spaces, alongside aluminium, uPVC and timber windows and doors. They manage projects from design through to installation and have a multi-skilled team covering the different stages of the build.

The Role

We are looking for a confident and organised Project Manager with a construction background to support the management and coordination of building and installation projects.

This is primarily an office-based role, working closely with the management team, trades and installers to ensure projects are properly organised, cost controlled and progressing to schedule. Site visits will be required when necessary.

• Able to monitor costs and ensure project information is accurate.
• CAD or AutoCAD experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
