Job summary

CMC Partnership Consultancy Ltd in Cheltenham is seeking a Project Manager or Delivery Lead with active enhanced e-DV clearance to drive transformation projects across private and public sectors.

You will manage project scope, schedule, risk, budgets and stakeholder engagement, building high-performing teams and ensuring delivery to time and quality while working across multiple client environments in a hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Experience on project/programme level assignments with delivery responsibility in a complex technical stakeholder environment.
• Experience leading and motivating teams towards successful delivery.
• Ability to manage forecasting, planning, risk management and financial reporting.

What You’ll Do?

As a CMC Consultant, you’ll work on a variety of exciting, fast-paced projects and programmes across both the private and public sectors. You’ll also enjoy the flexibility of working with different clients and teams on various sites and projects. You’ll use your exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Your role will vary across Client delivery teams, but likely to include:

• Management of project schedule, quality, scope, risk, issues and benefits.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets and monitor progress.
• Influence and manage senior stakeholders.
• Manage the team’s progress toward goals, build high performing team and lead team efforts in improvement including coaching.

About you:

You’ll need to show experience in:

• Working on project/programme level assignments, with evidence of delivery responsibility in a complex technical stakeholder environment.
• Experience of leading and motivating teams towards successful delivery
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• The ability to manage all aspects of project delivery including forecasting, planning, risk management and financial reporting.
• Hold a recognised Project Management qualifications e.g Prince 2, APM Project Management Qualification, MSP or equivalent qualification.

Ideally, you might also have:

• Recent Government or public sector experience.
• Understanding of agile principles & experience in applying those principles.
• Agile Project Management Qualification (eg Scrum, SAFe, Agile PM).
