Mitie is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to support the delivery of projects for local communities. This is a great opportunity to expand your skill set and knowledge while achieving job satisfaction!

Job Overview

• Dynamic, high-velocity team working on an expanding, well-established contract since 2011 with a proven track record of delivering excellent projects.
• Working in a team of 20 professionals delivering projects worth over £25 million annually.
• Aiding the council in achieving decarbonisation goals through innovation and technological advances via Mitie's in-house specialists.
• Delivering projects for levelling up within local communities and seeing the benefits for all residents throughout the county.

Main Duties

• Develop project scope independently or with the Programme Manager/Project Sponsor, producing specifications and activity schedules in line with NEC 3 Task Orders on TSC contract.
• Effectively carry out roles of Principal Designer & Principal Contractor when required.
• Ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality and standards.
• Lead and resource the project team effectively, managing stakeholder relationships.
• Conduct risk analysis.
• Communicate effectively with clients, representatives, project consultants, local authorities, and all stakeholders.
• Liaise daily with the line manager and internal Commercial team to manage project finances.
• Attend relevant meetings, both on-site and in offices, and record notes.
• Develop and maintain project programmes and schedules.
• Manage project deliverables, issues, scope, and change control.
• Monitor and report on project progress and performance.
• Understand and apply CDM 2015 regulations.

• Professionalism, integrity, and honesty in representing Mitie.
• Extensive experience managing the full lifecycle of construction projects, including managing staff and operatives.
• Proactive planning skills and regular review of plans and programmes.
• Strong drive for achievement, high standards, and problem-solving skills.
• Organised with good time management and prioritisation skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
