The Role

As a Project Manager, you’ll take accountability for critical business requirements from day one. You’ll lead a team and manage delivery of multiple Control Accounts within the MEWSIC Programme—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your work will directly support national security and defence capability, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career in a dynamic, innovative environment.

Day-to-day, you’ll be

  • Delivering accurate rolling forecasts and cost control for Control Accounts within the MEWSIC programme.
  • Managing risk contingency budgets and driving proactive risk management.
  • Ensuring schedules and scope align with contractual requirements and programme integration.
  • Working with the Programme Manager to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Leading and developing PM SQEP within assigned Control Accounts.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days onsite and days working from home.

Essential Experience
  • Previous experience in a similar project management role.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls tools and their application for decision-making.
  • Commercial and financial awareness with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • PMQ or PPQ (desirable) or equivalent project management qualification.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
