Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of multiple water-industry schemes from scope through delivery, with a hybrid work arrangement in Bridgwater. You will drive programmes, manage costs and lead client and supplier interactions, shaping successful project outcomes.

The role requires at least five years’ experience delivering water projects, plus strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, solid IT and communication skills, and a full UK driving

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience delivering water industry projects.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Good IT and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and teams.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and prepare estimates for multiple schemes.
• Develop and maintain clear programmes of work across projects.
• Produce risk assessments and method statements for works.
• Identify risks early and implement practical solutions.
• Take full responsibility for project profit and loss.
• Oversee health and safety across each scheme and ensure compliance.
• Manage several projects simultaneously and coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Mentor and support Project Engineers.

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of several schemes at different stages of delivery.

No two days will be quite the same.

One day you may be developing a programme of work, while the next could involve meeting a client, resolving an on-site issue or supporting a Project Engineer.

You will have the freedom to make decisions, solve problems and shape the successful delivery of each project.
