SSE is seeking a Project Manager to join our Network Delivery team, supporting Out of Area Projects across the UK. You will lead electrical connection projects, coordinate contractors, manage budgets, and ensure safe delivery to regulatory standards.
Base locations include Melksham, Swindon, Thatcham, Cardiff or Reading, with Flexible First options. Travel across sites and a valid UK driving licence required; company car or allowance may apply.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team!
In this role, you'll support the Regional Team Manager and Out of Area Delivery Manager in delivering SSE Network's Out of Area Projects.
You'll manage and coordinate external contractors, overseeing all aspects of connections to the SEPD and SHEPD Networks, across all voltages, including unmetered connections. You'll ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to regulatory standards, driving performance, maximising value, and ensuring our networks are fit for purpose.

We're looking for a proactive, hands-on Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys turning plans into action.
** This role involves travel across various locations to support business needs and a full UK driving licence is required for this position. To enable you to fulfil these responsibilities, as a role requirement, the company will provide access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
The requirement will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and if the company car policy criteria are met, there will be an opportunity to join the company car scheme. Provision of a company car or cash allowance does not form part of the contractual terms and conditions of employment for this role.
