About the opportunity

Due to continued expansion and confirmed workload, my client is recruiting permanently for a Remediation Project Manager. Reporting directly to the Contracts Director, you will be responsible for managing the profitable delivery of remediation projects throughout the North West region.

As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the operations team to ensure objectives and scope are delivered including writing programmes and updating against progress; managing the technical and commercial aspects of the project; managing contract variations and communicating changes to the project team; supervising technical staff; liaising with the client; ensuring legislative compliance on projects and carrying out report writing to name just a few duties.

Benefits

For this opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere between £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability.

Furthermore, a generous benefits package will be offered, which includes a company vehicle, enrolment in the company pension scheme, payment of professional membership fees, and support towards achieving professional qualifications such as chartered status.

Requirements

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you should hold a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in contaminated land remediation, including experience in a contracting role and project management. Experience in earthworks and geotechnical engineering will also be considered.

Ideally, you will be degree qualified in a related discipline (Environmental Sciences or similar), have proven ability in producing high standard written reports and working knowledge of ICC, NEC and JCT forms of contract.
