Job summary

Experis UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Engagement Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple P&C site projects. The role acts as the primary liaison between internal delivery teams, portfolio leadership, and client stakeholders to shift risks and keep projects on track.

The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills, proven delivery across multiple projects, and experience in regulated environments, ideally within Defence or government-related programmes.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in complex, multi-site programmes.
• Experience delivering in regulated environments, preference for defence/government projects.
• Active SC clearance with remaining validity and Sole UK national status.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects.
• Ensure delivery on time, within scope and budget.
• Provide regular status reports to Portfolio Lead.
• Create and monitor project forecasts and dependencies.
• Communicate effectively with client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Identify risks, escalate issues and implement mitigation plans.
• Maintain governance documentation and project reporting.

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects.
• Ensure delivery to agreed timelines, scope, and budget.
• Provide regular project status reports and updates to the Portfolio Lead.
• Create, issue, and monitor project forecasts.
• Identify, track, and elevate project risks and dependencies.
• Maintain effective communication with client stakeholders.
• Manage critical path activities and assess the impact of delays.
• Develop and implement mitigation plans to minimise project disruption.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Engagement Manager, or similar delivery-focused role.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of critical path analysis, project dependencies, and impact assessment.
• Experience producing project reporting, forecasting, and governance documentation.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools.
