Job summary
Currie & Brown in Manchester is seeking an experienced Associate / Associate Director to manage and deliver project management services. The role offers significant responsibilities, including leading multiple projects, fostering client relationships, and developing junior colleagues. Successful candidates will have a degree in project management or similar fields, and at least five years’ experience in a consultancy environment. Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ project delivery experience within a consultancy or contractor environment.
- Experience in pre- and post-contract services and reporting to external clients.
- Ability to run projects independently with minimal senior oversight.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver projects from inception to completion.
- Lead multiple projects as the primary project manager.
- Manage project finances, including forecasting and reporting.
Skills
Strong written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills
Project financial management and cash flow forecasting
Programming/scheduling skills (MS Project, ASTA, or equivalent)
Proficiency with estimating software, including BIM-linked tools
Collaborative team player
Education
Degree in project management, construction management, building surveying, engineering or equivalent
Chartered status (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM) or membership of an equivalent professional body
