Job description

Responsibilities

• Experience different placements within Shared Services in the Enterprise IT business supporting all BAE Systems sectors in the UK.
• Learn the knowledge required to successfully manage complex projects and programmes, developing leadership and change management skills, and understanding how to utilise project‑management tools, methods and strategic planning.
• Learn to manage budgets, schedules, risks and resources, applying project governance and tools.
• Placements may include working with Business Change and Business Relationship teams within IT Operations.
• Build communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills with a focus on professionalism, adaptability and accountability.

Qualifications

Project Manager (Integrated Degree, BSc Hons in Project Management) – Level 6. The Project Management Degree Apprenticeship is delivered by the University of Cumbria, held on campus at Lancaster University with a mix of in‑person and online sessions.

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9‑4 / A‑C, including Maths & English, and 96 UCAS points (or equivalent, excluding AS‑level points).
